In recession, go west
The youngest ever south-American crime baron muscles into Europe to set up his franchise operations.
Brazil’s youngest crime baron EL NIÑO (the little one), is ousted from his empire—a Favela (shanty town) overlooking Copacabana Beach, Rio de Janeiro. With time running out for his escape, ‘LOS CARTEL’ (the overlords) look to expand into Europe, and smuggle him onto a cargo ship bound for Greece: a country rife for rich pickings since—its banking and migrant crises. But they neither inform him of the Russian Mafia’s prevailing influence in Greece nor of its 1400 islands; of which only 227 are inhabited—some barely. With a trunk full of fake dollars, print plates for various currencies, two loaded guns and his pregnant girlfriend (three years his senior), ROMÃ Ilícito fruta (Pomegranate: the forbidden fruit), they delusionally set sail to conquer Europe—Vasco da Gama in reverse.
